„Sea water desalination is key to supplying the world’s population with potable water, but it can only be sustainable hence socially and environmentally responsible, if that desalination is based on renewable energies.”

MAGE WATER MANAGEMENT Leitmotiv

MAGE WATER MANAGEMENT

The MAGE WATER MANAGEMENT company sees itself as a solution-provider for de-centralized water supply in locations where salt water or brackish water are the only water resources available. With R&D offices and core activities based in Munich, Germany, the MAGE WATER MANAGEMENT GMBH commands years of experience in thermal desalination, going all the way back into the 90s.

It was in 2003 that the process of multiple effect humidification (MEH) was first put into commercial use. Since then, this process has garnered benchmark status in the solar thermal desalination industry. It was in 2005 that first plants were built, yielding 5.000 Liters (approx. 1.320 Gallons) of pure drinking water from salt water per day.

In late 2008 the ingenious Watercone was added to the product portfolio as a one-person, portable desalination unit alternative for use in highly disadvantaged coastal areas of the world.

The MAGE WATER MANAGEMENT GMBH prides itself in being able and willing to offer tailored solutions for specification-based engineering. System layout and implementation are organized by the MAGE WATER MANAGEMENT team and put into practice using the assistance of local installation partners (local content aspect). MAGE WATER MANAGEMENT GMBH has completed a number of projects worldwide and is a recognized force in the global quest for renewable energy driven, desalination generated drinking water.
